Usher has premiered a music video directed by Anthony Mandler to support his new single called “OMG”. The clip was filmed in Los Angeles and has a cameo appearance from Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am who also lends his vocal on the track.

“Let’s just say that the video is a spectacle,” the director previously dished on what to expect from the video. “It really emphasizes what we love about Usher and the character and the icon that he is, and most importantly, it’s really a video that showcases his superstardom.”

“OMG” is set to appear among new materials in Usher’s sixth studio album “Raymond vs. Raymond” which comes out in the U.S. on March 30. The song will be performed live on the upcoming result show of “American Idol”.

Ozzy Osbourne’s new song will debut as the soundtrack to a prison riot on TV. “Let Me Hear You Scream” will have its world premiere during the April 14 episode of crime drama “CSI: NY” in America.

Executive producer Peter Lenkov, who also co-wrote the screenplay for the episode, admits Osbourne’s new tune was perfect for scenes in which show regular Hill Harper is trapped in a prison during a riot. Lenkov says, “We were looking for something high energy and irreverent to sell the madness of a prison riot. We immediately responded to the new Osbourne tune. The song exceeded our expectations and brought exactly the right tone to the episode.”

And Osbourne is thrilled “When I heard they were going to use ‘Let Me Hear You Scream’ for a prison riot scene, I thought, ‘Well, now that’s something I know about’.”

“Massive Attack”, Nicki Minaj’s debut single, has been out for fans’ listening pleasure. It features Sean Garrett and is confirmed as the lead single from the female rapper’s forthcoming first studio album which will be released later this year.

A music video has been filmed in Lancaster, California on March 15 to support the brand new song. It is directed by Hype Williams and has the Young Money artist sharing screen with Amber Rose aka Kanye West’s girlfriend.

“This is a massive attack,” she told MTV about the video shoot. “We shot the helicopter scene. Obviously, I had to have a hot-pink Lamborghini. We’re having fun in the car, and we see a freakin’ helicopter chase us. So we get on the walkie-talkie, like, ‘Mayday! Mayday!’ It’s really fashion and beauty shots, and we’re acting like we’re doing something important.”

Pete Doherty is worried about The Libertines’ upcoming sets at a U.K. music festival, admitting the reunion is “potentially a disaster” waiting to happen. The cult band, fronted by Doherty and Carl Barat, was announced as part of the line-up for Britain’s twin Reading and Leeds festivals on Monday, March 29.

It will mark the first time the group has performed together in full since 2004 – and Doherty is worried their stormy relations could resurface when they take the stage together this summer. He tells NME.com, “I was like, ‘Lets get on with it’. Potentially it’s a f**king disaster – it’s a tinder box waiting to go up.”

“I think we need to be honest with each other and speak up if something is happening that no one else agrees with and, rather than just wander off in silence and let get everything get messy, just be honest.”

Rockers Rage Against the Machine have reached out to Simon Cowell after their feud over the U.K. Christmas charts in 2009 – they want to perform with his protege Susan Boyle. The California band snatched the coveted top spot from the winner of Cowell’s talent show “The X Factor”, following an internet campaign to stop a four-year run of reality stars ruling the festive charts.

They infuriated the “American Idol” judge by topping Joe McElderry with the re-release of their 1992 hit “Killing in the Name”, and are set to put on a massive free gig in London in June to thank fans for downloading their track. They’ve invited Boyle, who was discovered on Cowell’s “Britain’s Got Talent”, to sing on stage with them at the concert – in a bid to make peace with the music mogul.

Frontman Zack de la Rocha tells Britain’s The Sun, “I really hope there are no hard feelings with Simon. He seemed to think that it was a bullying campaign but the truth is the British people wanted a change. I don’t think anybody has heard anything of that Joe guy since Christmas, but we have nothing against him.”

“The truth is Simon’s shows occasionally produce talent. We love Susan Boyle, she is hot. To show there are no hard feelings we would like her to perform with us on stage this summer. She is a great vocalist and we would love to perform ‘Killing in the Name’ with her. Everybody knows her in the U.S. and she can add her vocals to anything. It would be an honor for us.”

British R&B star Lemar was forced to delay the release of his latest album – because the wrong record name was printed on the cover. The “Dance (With U)” hitmaker, who was discovered on British talent show “Fame Academy” in 2002, was due to release “The Hits” compilation on Monday, March 1.

But it will be hitting the shops a week later, on March 8 now – after record company bosses noticed the printers had missed off the word ‘Hits’ from the title, leaving just ‘The’ as the album’s name.

Although he reached third place in “Fame Academy”, Lemar succeed in winning contract with Sony Records. He then released his first studio album “Dedicated” in 2003. His second single “Dance (With U)” reached a second place on the UK Singles Chart in early 2003. The next year, he won Best Urban Act at BRIT Awards.

Backstreet Boys have shared their plan for having a four-day cruise trip, treating fans with ‘Q and A, Photo Session, Deck Party and Beach Party’ which all will be hosted by the boyband.

The Backstreet Boys are following in the footsteps of boyband New Kids On The Block by performing a concert cruise. The “Step by Step” hitmakers put on a three-day boat trip around the Caribbean in May 2009. The high seas thrill featured performances from the group and special meet-and-greet sessions for fans onboard.

And now the Backstreet Boys are cruising to treat their loyal followers to a similar trip. The four-day trip will set sail from Florida on December 9. It will include a show and themed parties.

A post on the band’s website reads, “This is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that the boys will embark on and share with you, the fans. Some of the fun things on tap are, an intimate performance by the Backstreet Boys, Q&A, Photo Session, Deck Party and Beach Party. All events are hosted by the Boys.”

Pitbull appears as a man in black in the newly-premiered music video for his new single “Watagatapitusberry”. The rapper is joined by fellow MC Lil Jon and Latin artist Sensato and Black Point when rapping to the camera.

Other cameos in this video are several sexy ladies who are also dressed in black outfit and described as “strawberry” by the MCs. Directed by David Rosseau, the video is debuted as a precursor before Pitbull releases his next studio album “Armando” later in May.

“Watagatapitusberry” music video aside, Pitbull recently teamed up with such Latin artists as Shakira, Juanes, Ricky Martin, Jose Feliciano, Vicente Fernandez, David Archuleta, Thalia and Jon Secada for “We Are the World” Spanish version. Both ‘Your Love Is My Drug’ and ‘Take It Off’, one of which could be released as her next single, actually are not the ones Ke$ha really wants.

Ke$ha talked about which single she will release to follow up her hit single “Blah Blah Blah”. In a recent interview, the “Tik Tok” hitmaker said her record label will choose either “Your Love Is My Drug” or “Take It Off” as the third single of her debut album “Animal”.

“If I could pick any song on the record, I’d want it to be ‘Stephen’,” she told Digital Spy. “But I think we’re going for either ‘Your Love Is My Drug’ or ‘Take It Off’. ‘Stephen’ and ‘Animal’ are my two favourites on the album though.”

” ‘Stephen’ shows the vulnerable side of me but it’s still a funny pop song. It’s me saying I’m totally obsessive and in love with this guy, but he’s blowing me off in a pretty funny way. I like ‘Animal’ because it’s one of the last songs I wrote for the record and it just embodies everything I think about humans – it’s my take on human beings as an animal.”

In addition to opening up about her third single, Ke$ha also responded to criticism regarding the similarity of her “Tik Tok” club banger with a song titled “Justice” from a singer named Uffie. “I’ve never heard the song, so I don’t really know, but people are comparing me because they have a very one-dimensional view of who I am. You know, I only have two songs out right now. When people have a better understanding of who I am, what I stand for, what I look like and what my shows are like, I think that’s going to dispel the comparisons,” she said.

“Stylo” music video gets premiered. Three members of Gorillaz hop a smoking ’69 Chevrolet Camaro and race on the desert road. After successfully escaping from an inept police officer, 2D, Murdoc Niccals and Noodle are engaged in a car chase with Bruce Willis who looks contented when the trio runs off of the side of the road and jumps into the ocean.

“Something happened out in California…And I’ve just seen the footage!” Murdoc previously shared on Twitter about the video shoot. “I’ve had this stupid camera crew following me around. I hired them. They film everything I do nowadays…So they’ve got it all on Camera!! I got chased through the desert. Shot at! Bullets flying everywhere!!”

Featuring Bobby Womack and Mos Def, “Stylo” is confirmed to appear in Gorillaz’s next installment “Plastic Beach”.
